AceInfo is currently seeking a Sr. Data Center Program Manager to support our upcoming federal project, in College Park, MD.


This is a large data center infrastructure support and software development contract  that will likely consist of over 100 staff members. Qualified candidates must have experience managing large, diverse projects for the Federal Government, have strong technical acumen, and possess excellent customer interaction and interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience developing and enhancing business processes to improve efficiency and productivity and enhance overall cost effectiveness is also required for this position. A PMP certification is required and other certs such as ITIL Foundation are strongly desired.





  • Single Point of contact for all customer questions and issues.
  • Responsible for cost, schedule, quality, and overall service delivery performance.
  • Responsible for planning, organization, strategic direction and day-to-day operations.
  • Directs and prioritizes the work load of all project personnel 
  • Performs salary administration and conducts interviews and makes recommendations for new hires, consultants and/or replacement personnel
  • Conduct annual performance reviews and interim recognitions for outstanding performance as well as handle counsel and discipline when performance is not meeting expectations
  • Directs the development and effective delivery of server, storage, networks, security, cloud computing, communications, monitoring and disaster recovery systems
  • Assists in the development of new systems and software to accommodate expanding operations
  • Ensures the consistency and maintainability of existing applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures for implementing technical solutions
  • Meet with customers to define requirements for services and present cost-effective technical solutions.
  • Perform liaison duties between member, team members, and IT personnel in the areas of systems design, modifications or trouble shooting
  • Manage information technology vendor relationships.
  • Work with corporate staff for administrative duties and staffing.



  • Must have a minimum of 7-10 years of project and program management experience supporting a diverse array of IT projects, preferably with prior experience as a hands-on contributor
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Must be experience supporting large Data Center operations
  • Extensive Project Management experience.
  • Prior experience developing, improving and implementing business processes that result in improved efficiency, increased productivity, enhanced customer satisfaction levels, and/or improved cost-effectiveness
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering/ Information Systems or related discipline
  • Must be PMI PMP; ITIL certification strongly desired.
  • Experience with CMMI and/or ISSO desired
  • Must have good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrable customer management / service skills
  • Experience working within a busy support environment where multi-tasking is a must
  • Demonstrable understanding and awareness of the ITIL service management design and operations
  • Strong individual with the ability to communicate and negotiate at all levels. 
  • Good organizational skills plus the ability to motivate people across the organization to provide solutions
  • Strong technical knowledge across the core supported technologies
