AceInfo is currently seeking a Program Manager to support our upcoming federal project, in Washington, DC.  


Program Overview: 

The Program enables the sharing of information across the organization’s components’ Partners and other Government Agencies to include shared internet, intranet, and extranet services. Program and Project Management, Enterprise Architecture and Engineering, Engineering Operational Support (Tier II and Tier III support level,) and the Enterprise Operations Center (Tier I support level). The Program and Project Management functional area is responsible for the performance of the program and project management support, program and project reporting activities, project artifact development, artifact organization and configuration management. The Engineering Operational Tier II-III Support functional area is responsible for the operations, maintenance, management, change request management, and break-fix of the network infrastructure. The Enterprise Operations Center functional area is responsible for the continuous (24 hours, 365 days a year) monitoring, analysis, restoration, troubleshooting, escalation, coordination, and reporting of operational information concerning infrastructure.


  • Daily project-related communications with customers, vendors, engineers, and other project managers;
  • Coordination of services request, changes request and facilitating the submission and scheduling of service requests (SR)/change requests(CR) to the Change control Boards for approval and production scheduling
  • Implementation coordination and facilitation of Change Control Board (CCB) SRs/CRs into production.
  • Monitoring cost, performance, schedule and program and project risks for the entire Program and Projects.
  • Tracking and reporting of all program and project management activities to all stakeholders.
  • Managing the product lifecycle for IT products and services
  • Operating, maintaining, and managing the infrastructure in a highly secure, stable, efficient, cost effective, and process-oriented way
  • Working on establishing the necessary steps to ensure the network evolves toward more secure, stable, cost efficient, innovative, and effective technologies (i.e., software defined networks, cloud, virtualization, etc.)
  • Providing product lifecycle management in products and services
  • Concentrating all of the Program and Project management activities (Architecture, Engineering, Tier I, Tier II, Tier III, and program reporting) in one PMO functional area
  • Evolving the organization into a more mature entity, by adopting CMMI-SVC-based (Capability Maturity Model Integration-CMMI for Services) to incorporate industry and government best practices.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 10 years of managing experience with technical and management teams.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Cisco Certification required (CCNA, CCNP, for instance)
  • ITIL Certification
  • 7 years overall network engineering management and wide area network experience


Network Environment Requirements:

Qualifying candidate must have technical experience in large Wide Area Networks similar in size, complexity, and scope to the contract Wide Area Networks:

  • Wide Area Networks with more than 500 sites throughout the continental US, OCONUS and international locations.
  • Wide Area Networks which transport voice, data, video; Wide Area Networks that have:
    • Planned transition to newer architectures including use of software define networks, cloud services, advanced monitoring, etc.
    • Managed several web-based applications, used by at least 50K customers.
    • Managed more than 5 enterprise-wide services being transported by the WAN, (which are being operated by other vendors and service providers).
    • Facilitated extranet connections to other entities (such as federal, state, local and tribal agencies, as well as non-governmental organizations and private industry).
  • Wide Area Networks which manage more than 50 critical applications, with very critical response times to address real-time technical issue.


Candidate shall have one or more of the following certifications (but not required):


  • Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC)
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
