AceInfo is currently seeking a Journeyman IT Project Speicalist to support our upcoming federal project in Fort Collins, CO.





The Program will provide End User Support and strategic Division Level Support for the Technical Support Division, for numerous Federal Agencies and Groups. These efforts will aid in providing overall project management support, coordination, and outreach/communication between the Technical Support Division (TSD) Division level management and TSD employees as well as other Client Technology Services (CTS) Divisions and Customers. The staff will effectively administer, manage, and perform duties and responsibilities as required by the Government. The staff will be performing work as required to accomplish IT End User Services and Support. The staff is responsible for all applicable directives, orders, regulations, specifications, etc. provided by the Government in support; and will be principally performed at locations in the following Geographic Site Locations; St. Louis, MO; Kansas City, MO; Beltsville, MD; Washington, DC and Ft. Collins, CO.


  • Creates, edits, distributes, and posts TSD documentation to SharePoint; including TSD processes, operating procedures, form/templates, etc.
  • Performs Change Manager activities for all TSD documentation, to include the following activities:

o Tracking and monitoring documentation through all phases of the Approval Process

o Updating and maintaining Document Change Notice Log

o Ensuring all TSD documentation is under version control


  • Creates and updates TSD Procurement Work Order (WO) statistics data for bulk procurements, to include the following:

o Creating procurement work order statistics/charts as needed

o Updating, distributing, and posting to SharePoint the overall TSD Procurement WO Statistics on a monthly basis

o Updating and distributing TSD Group (Regions and Large Office) Procurement WO statistics on a quarterly basis


  • Provides work group coordination and documentation, to include the following activities:

o Attending and participating in work group meetings

o Consulting across work groups as needed

o Facilitating team teleconferences as needed

o Formatting, editing, and preparing all work order documentation for presentation to TSD Director, Deputy Director, Branch Chiefs, and other TSD leadership for purpose of briefing and/or official release

o Creating and maintaining the SOP WO Group Project Plan on SharePoint


  • Performs regular updates and backup of data in all SharePoint applications, to include the following activities:

o Posting Weekly Activity Reports on a weekly basis

o Posting National Food and Agriculture Council (NFAC) Office Moves/Closure Notices

o Adding task due dates to the Group Manager and Branch Chief calendars

o Creating new folders/files for Group Managers/teams as requested

o Assisting TSD staff with questions and/or resolution of SharePoint issues

o Performing backup of SharePoint files/spreadsheets/lists to the H or T drives as needed

o Creating, Monitoring, and Reporting of SharePoint surveys

o Updating the TSD Organization Chart and Staff List


  • Provides deployment assistance for the full range of TSD projects and programs, to include the following activities:

o Serving as Point of Contact for TSD with other divisions/departments

o Providing shipment and installation status of equipment and other resources

o Escalating problems/issues to TSD management

o Communicating deadlines and accomplishment status to TSD management


  • Serves as a facilitator of meetings, to include the following activities:

o Developing or assisting with the development of agendas for meetings

o Managing or assisting with time management of meetings

o Documenting action items (i.e., due dates, responsible owner, etc.).

o Assisting with conflict resolution amongst team members

o Ensuring that the meeting stays focused on the task at hand and appropriate activities


  • Serves as recorder of meetings, to include recording, distributing, and posting to SharePoint minutes for the following meetings:

o Weekly Branch Chief Meeting

o Weekly Division Leadership Meeting

o Monthly Group Manager Teleconference

o Quarterly Branch Chief Meetings

o Annual TSD Group Meeting

o Weekly/Monthly Work Group Meetings (to include meetings for Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) work groups)

o Other meetings as required

o Performs other ancillary duties in support of the senior task principal


  • Bachelor’s degree in IT related field
  • 6+ years of Service Desk, Helpdesk Support and Remote support
  • Experience in managing IT support issues
  • Expert with Windows client operating systems (i.e. Windows 7, Windows 10)
  • Experience in managing and performing support of end user hardware, software and technologies
  • Experience with direct end user customer service and interaction
  • Experience reviewing ticket data and identifying trends for corrective action
  • Experience working with enterprise IT ticketing tool, preferably with Remedy
  • Experience working in IT support federal contracting environment
  • Experience supervising professionals who are located remotely across the country
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good organization and time management skills

Technical Skills Required/Technologies:

  1. Knowledge and proficiency in overall asset management for a Large Organization including serving as Data Steward for Remedy Asset Management
  2. Remedy Change Request Queue Management
  3. Microsoft SharePoint/Microsoft SharePoint Applications
  4. Remedy Asset and Change Management Consoles
  5. Deployment Management and Tracking for international hardware and software deployments
  6. Providing Asset Management Training to TSD Staff nationwide
  7. Facilitates and Manages Large/Bulk TSD Procurements through the Remedy System
  8. Technical writing and publishing services for CTS managed documentation
  9. Change Manager services and documentation control for all CTS documentation and SOP`s
  10. Asset management system administration
