AceInfo is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst  Intermediate to support our federal project, in Quantico, VA

 

Project Overview:

 

Ace Info Solutions provides IT support services to over 900 civilian employees and contractors at 70+ locations across the United States for a DoD customer. Under the Office of the Chief Information Officer we enable users to execute the mission of the agency by providing communications, networking, system support, and cyber security.

 

Position Description:

 

Under minimal supervision, the candidate must be able to modify a program of record while certifying and recording system changes. Ensuring all proposed process flow changes or additions follow industry best practices while retaining the flexibility to be integrated into related Agency processes.  

 

Collaborate with various divisions within the Agency and determine ITSM requirements. Determine the best implementation to accomplish the customer’s requirements while ensuring future capability expansion. Assist with the initial Service Request Definition review and submittal for developer reference.

 

As required, will be assigned additional Agency led projects by the ITSS Program Manager and Deputy Program Manager and act as a liaison between ITSS Contract Management and Government Agency Management. Must work with groups outside the Office of the Chief Information Officer, within the DSS Agency, when required. Will ensure any assigned projects meet or exceed expected deadlines or established goals.

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform audits of agency work processes to insure that work is accomplished according to maintenance standards and specifications. Provide input on streamlining/simplification of established DSS processes to enhance agency capability
  • Gather information concerning the application of procedures, review of technical requirements, and input from senior developers to provide a basis for decisions and appropriate action
  • Provide information for an overall assessment of the timely and proper implementation of new work processes within ITSM and work with a development team to establish parameters and specifications for Service Request Definitions
  • Tracks and maintains documentation of assigned projects. Review requirements, specifications and documentation to gain a thorough understanding of the programs and processes to be certified
  • Validate results and report discrepancies to ensure that all issues are resolved. Raise issues, questions and concerns to senior Government Performance Monitors and provide presentations and briefs if/when necessary
  • Provides or validates estimates for assigned tasks

Qualifications

  • Must have a current TOP SECRET clearance which has been used in support of the U.S. Federal government within the last two years
  • ITIL Foundation in IT Service Management certified
  • Must have experience using BMC Remedy 8..1 or above in support of Service Desk Operations
  • Must have excellent Customer Service and oratory skills

 

Additional Information:

  • Experience using BMC Remedy 9.0 in support of Service Desk Operations.
