AceInfo is currently seeking a Senior System Engineer - Infosec (ACAS) to support our federal project, in Quantico, VA

 

 

Project Overview:

 

Ace Info Solutions provides IT support services to over 900 civilian employees and contractors at 70+ locations across the United States for a DoD customer. Under the Office of the Chief Information Officer we enable users to execute the mission of the agency by providing communications, networking, system support, and cyber security.

 

 

 

Position Description:

 

The Sr. InfoSec Engineer (ACAS) is responsible for The Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) that resides on the customer’s network. This individual is responsible for ACAS administration tasks including but not limited to conducting network vulnerability scanning, configuration assessment, application vulnerability scanning, device configuration assessment, optimization, troubleshooting, backup, and restoration.

 

Under general supervision, performs a myriad of duties relating to Computer Network Defense (CND). Creates, modifies, and analyzes data and all related reports that support the Defense Security Services agency. Utilizes various automated computer security suites/tools to assist in protecting various networks, both classified and unclassified. Conducts audits and performs troubleshooting. Prepares and maintains system request task status.

 

Responsibilities

  • Performs Tier II\III level ACAS troubleshooting support
  • Manage system and server security posture using The Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) according to organizational security regulations
  • Assess and document test or analysis data to show compliance with security requirements
  • Interacting with users and troubleshooting various ACAS issues
  • Tracks and maintains documentation of assigned tasks\projects
  • Reviews documentation to gain a thorough understanding of the CND tools, processes, and procedures
  • Validates results, reports discrepancies, and follows through to ensure that all issues are resolved
  • Implements and interprets the requirements for agency compliance with policy directives governing infrastructure protection
  • Provides expertise in the implementation of DOD related security policy
  • Performs technical analysis, generate reports and produce written documentation of findings
  • Communicates analysis of current security posture to the client by compiling data from ACAS Reports, new TASKORD/IAVA releases, and historical data

 

Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience with Information Assurance
  • Experience with networking fundamentals and an understanding of common protocols
  • Experience in system administration/ security administration of Windows server and workstation operating systems
  • Experience implementing IAVAs and IAVM programs
  • Demonstrated experience with performing security compliance monitoring and security policy assessments/audits
  • Customer-service attitude with ability to organize, detail oriented, and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Candidate must demonstrate strong communication skills
  • Must have a current and active TOP SECRET clearance which has been used while working for the federal government within the last 2 years
  • CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP)ce or (ISC©)2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) which is current / renewed in less than 3 years from the date of hire
  • DIDA ACAS training

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • BS/BA (4-year degree) majoring in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related field  

 

Other:

  • DISA HBSS 201 and 301 Training will be provided
