AceInfo is currently seeking a Drupal Lead/Architect to support our federal project, in Washington, DC

 

Project Overview:

 

This contract provides the technical software development support (38 systems total) to the grant lifecycle (pre-award, award generation, post award) for the COPS Office. The project consists of a team of 28 staff members divided into 2 major teams (AMG and NexGen).  

 

Position Description:

The COPS Office, an agency of the Department of Justice, is seeking a Drupal Lead/Architect to help migrate our HTML-based Web site to Drupal 7/8.

The Drupal Lead/Architect will provide leadership towards full systems life cycle support for the development and maintenance of an enterprise-wide Drupal-based content management solution. Work to create and configure new Drupal site, including theming, content types, taxonomies, and workflows, develop custom modules using PHP, and migrate HTML-based Web site. Work with senior team members and mentor and guide junior team members throughout the development process.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, develop and maintain Drupal based website
  • Lead the technical team in the installation, configuration, migration and implementation of the designed Drupal 8 product suite solution
  • Work with the customer on defining the requirements and architecture of the website
  • Lead/mentor other developers
  • Oversee the design and delivery of highly customized components, provide integration to other platforms or environments, and / or significantly extend the functionality of the base CMS platform
  • Work well with Business Analysts

Qualifications

  • MUST be strong PHP developer and MUST have experience developing Drupal CMS (Drupal 7/8)
  • 5+ years' experience implementing solutions using Drupal and LAMP
  • 4+ years with JavaScript, jQuery, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3
  • Proficiency with the following modules: panels, views, admin menus and organic groups
  • Hands-on experience in designing and developing websites which support multi browsers, multiple devices and multiple languages
  • Strong in building and maintaining websites using Drupal 7/8
  • Support multiple deliverables in parallel
  • Follow technical direction
  • Understanding of federal guidelines for information security and contract work
  • Bachelor’s degree and five years of web design experience preferred
  • Must be able to pass a DOJ Background Investigation and obtain a Public Trust clearance

Additional Information:

  • Portfolio that includes at least 2 - 5 websites, out of which 1-2 are larger Drupal based websites
