AceInfo is currently seeking a Database Developer / Engineer to support our federal project, in Washington, DC

 

Project Overview:

 

This contract provides the technical software development support (38 systems total) to the grant lifecycle (pre-award, award generation, post award) for the COPS Office. The project consists of a team of 30 staff members divided into 2 major teams (AMG and NexGen).  

 

Position Description:

Develop complex data transformations using Microsoft Transactional SQL for queries and application support.

Responsibilities

  • Implement physical databases based on the logical design
  • Implement SQL queries and stored procedures
  • Write SQL scripts for importing, transforming, and exporting data
  • Assist Systems Group in resolving database performance issues and database capacity issues

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field
  • 5-10 years of experience developing databases using Microsoft SQL Server
  • Current knowledge of MS SQL Server Enterprise Edition 2012
  • Experience with generating and consuming XML programmatically from MS SQL queries
  • Ability to understand and implement technical concepts
  • Ability to recommend cost-effective creative solutions

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

  • US Citizenship is required
