AceInfo is currently seeking 2 Systems Administrators to support our federal project, in Washington, DC.



Position Description:


Provides server administration, troubleshooting, security, monitoring, performance tuning, configuration management, and support for development projects and teams. Works with other services teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly. Able to perform root cause analysis and provide detailed technical data and reporting to management. Experienced with installing and maintaining web applications in multiple environments with internal and external hosting providers.





Under general supervision, responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining operating system workstations and servers, including web servers, in support of business processing requirements. Performs software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages. Schedules installations and upgrades and maintains them in accordance with established IT policies and procedures. Monitors and tunes the system to achieve optimum performance levels. Ensures workstation/server data integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions. Ensures data/media recoverability by implementing a schedule of system backups and database archive operations. Supports media management through internal methods and procedures or through offsite storage and retrieval services. Develops and promotes standard operating procedures. Conducts routine hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines. Develops and maintains a comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration database/library of all supporting documentation.


Candidates must be able to

  • Provide application support, service reliability, and incident and request management
  • Work closely with help desk support team and keep stakeholders updated on progress
  • Participate in on-call rotation
  • Maintain application troubleshooting processes
  • Track tickets closely and complete them within SLA’s
  • Assist with software and hardware management, inventory, installations, configurations and connectivity
  • Provide backup support for administering database and web servers
  • Utilize industry leading tools to quickly identify and fix system problems
  • Effectively communicate and work with external teams to resolve issues within SLA’s
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies that improve efficiency, performance and reliability
  • Collaborate with engineers and developers to improve services
  • Analyze and troubleshoot problems within all application tiers 






5+ years of IT expereince in analysis, design and development.

Proficent in Asp.Net, Vb.Net, SQL, Sharepoint.

Excellent communication skills
