AceInfo is currently seeking a Helpdesk/Desktop Support /Junior Network Administrator to support our Corporate office in Reston, VA.


Position Overview:


This is an immediate hire. Seeking candidates with helpdesk, desktop support, computer support and network experience (network experience is a plus). Must be a U.S. citizen. 





Helpdesk Tier 1, Full time, supporting, internal user's laptops, hardware and software, imaging, inventory, phones, etc, on a Microsoft platform. Understanding of basic hardware and software terminology is essential. Solid analytical skills a must. Attention to details and sharp organization skills to be applied in all areas. Some operational training will be provided, but self-learning is essential. Expect to take and pass some Microsoft exams as needed. Must be willing to commute to Bethesda or other locations, as needed (assume 1-3 times a month). Drive or metro (reimbursement provided)


  • Responsible for resolving all level 1 helpdesk calls
  • Creatively handling tickets and escalations as needed. Correctly closing all tickets with documentation
  • Tracking all inventory down to the last system, placing orders and keeping regular items in stock
  • Completing updates of system images as needed, building the platform, media and testing
  • Working with vendors to monitor IT costs and accounts
  • Cleaning up and submitting inventory and accounts reports. Evaluating new technologies and vendors as needed
  • POC for Microsoft Partnership account rep
  • Manage Microsoft Partnership benefits and expirations
  • Develop software packages as needed



  • Must be a likely candidate to be eligible for public trust
  • 6 months to 1 year experience in some customer focused, technical helpdesk, capacity
  • Completion of multiple college level courses preferred. Degree Preferred.
  • Interest in advancing into software development or configuration management or Systems Administration, preferred 


  • A+ cert, but not required, interest in, or status towards obtaining their MCSA
