AceInfo is currently seeking a NaaS Engineering Project Manager to support our federal project Kearneysville, WV. 



Position Description:


This position will report directly to the CTS II Engineering Delivery Manager. The NaaS Engineering Project Manager will be responsible for engineering next generation network based solutions for two enterprise data centers and four WAN network consolidation sites. As the Project Manager for the Network as a Service (NaaS) Engineering team, he/she is responsible for managing current and future engineering projects for next generation network technologies for Data Centers and WAN network consolidation sites.  Project Manager applies in-depth technical and project management experience to understand customer requirements as well as drive accountability and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.



  • Use general and specific SME-level knowledge, skills, and abilities to oversee the strategic planning for and project execution of network development, implementation, testing, and performance analysis. 
  • IPT coordination & SME engagement with cross functional teams
  • Tracking and reporting of overall status
  • Standard templates/processes for system lifecycle
  • Continually increase knowledge base and act as the subject matter expert always eager to learn about new and emerging technologies in the IT security industry




  • Lead project kick-off meetings to ensure thorough understanding of project requirements, specifications, scope of work, and schedule
  • Manage engineering documentation (presentations, diagrams and business cases)
  • Deliver projects on-time and on-budget meeting all contract requirements
  • Manage employee access control via privileged user access process
  • Providing effective and efficient delivery of services, along with associated metrics
  • Gathering and management of business system requirements.
  • Communicate requirements and action items identified during discovery, evaluation and testing evolution to all system stakeholders.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction is kept at the highest level possible.  This includes holding ad-hoc meetings with the customers, capturing positive/negative feedback, and creating/executing process improvement plans.
  • Document and implement processes for system transitions to and within the OSC.
  • Preparing complex technical documents (including proposals) and project status briefings.
  • Managing internal staff, consultants, and cross-functional IPTs, including both direct and indirect reporting relationships
  • Staff evaluations, disciplinary briefings and other personnel consultations.


Required Education

  • Master’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years hands on project management experience



  • 15+ years of enterprise or service provider network design experience
  • Architectural knowledge in Cisco IOS
  • Architectural knowledge in Cisco ASA
  • Architectural knowledge in Cisco RSA two-factor authentication (AAA) Service.
  • Architectural knowledge in F5 Big-IP (LTM, GTM, & ASM)
  • Experience with QoS architectures is also essential.
  • Knowledge of routing and switching fundamentals and products is essential.
  • Knowledge of DoD JRSS/JIE
  • Practical experience working in complex WAN/LAN environments
  • Network design and cost estimation is essential
  • Working knowledge or strong understanding of DoD STIGs., OSI, DOD models
  • Strong understanding of Network Flow, SNMP, SPAN, TAPs and ICMP related uses.
  • Ability to lead a team, set priorities, and give attention to detail and quality, flexible, strong organizational and time management skills, ability to multi-task, ability to work individually and with a team, positive attitude, self-motivated, reliable, trustworthy, strong interpersonal skills, diplomacy, and ability to handle stress in professional manner.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, and effective in interfacing with internal and external customers fostering collaboration and establishing strong partnerships and relationships




  • Experience with firewalls, routers, switches, IDS, DLP, SDN.
  • CCNA certification or equivalent
  • Microsoft Project experience
  • Knowledge of network operations and security best practices
  • Monitoring solutions such as SolarWinds, CA Universal Infrastructure Manager (UIM)
  • Network and Application forensics using tools like Riverbed, Solera, Netscout, NIKSUN, and WireShark.
  • Python, .NET, TCL, etc. is a plus
  • Knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 MPLS
  • Knowledge of various operating systems and hardware (Linux, Windows,).
  • Desired Certifications: CCNP, CCNA, JNCIS-SEC, JNCIA-Junos, Network (Plus), F5 Administration 101 and 102, Security (Plus), ITILv3, CISSP.
