Ace Info Solutions, Inc. is currently seeking a Project Manager to support an upcoming Agile and DevOps based Modernization project with Client, in Washington DC. Candidate must have the ability to obtain a Public Trust from the Federal Government.The Client requires an Agile development approach that utilizes multiple scrum teams (to include developers, engineers, etc.) to support development on replacing large, legacy solutions (Mainframe/Cobol) that processes insurance information and transactions, with a significant number of interfaces and large data stores (approximately 100TB). In addition client seeks a modular development approach that ensures business continuity for a mixed-financial system such that NFIP day-to-day operations can continue throughout the modernization effort (e.g., claims are still being paid even though the new system may not have a fully developed claims module in the initial phase of the project).




  • Provides a full spectrum of Project Management for innovative professional services for developing, maintaining and supporting enterprise-class business applications through proven Agile Software Engineering and DevOps methods.
  • Provide leadership for several Agile development teams (UX/UI and Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Scrum Masters, Developers, QA and Business Analysts,) and successful collaboration with Product Owners.
  • Responsible for management and completion of development releases and operational support for major Agile projects. 
  • Implements organization standards and best practices in Agile project execution, and ensures progress and risks are communicated clearly to stakeholders.
  • Builds and maintains strong working relationships with the customer and team members, as well as other organization such as Operational Support.
  • Implements and maintains quality improvement processes, risk management and other PMP process groups and knowledge areas.





  • Project Manager must have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher and 10-15 years’ of overall IT experience with 5+ years of Project Management. PMP and Agile certifications (CSM or PMI-ACP or similar) are required.
  • Prior experience with DHS/FEMA IT projects is not mandatory but preferred.
  • Experience with Agile management tools for tracking sprint progress and creating product roadmaps.
  • Atlassian tools as Jira, Confluence and Portfolio are preferred.
  • Exposure to managing DevOps and ATO processes, toolsets, workflows and personnel.
  • Will be a direct liaison to Customer COR and Product/Functional/Task Leads and responsible for the supervision and management of multiple Agile Teams’ personnel, technical assistance, and interface.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving agile development practices with multiple agile teams and customers
  • Technical leadership with an ability to rapidly prioritize competing requirements.
  • Ability to understand and simplify customer requirements and communicate end user feedback to technical and design leads.
  • Strong communication skills and proven knowledge of industry standards with Agile, DevOps and Software development and systems modernization
