AceInfo is currently seeking a .NET Developer to support our federal project, in Fort Collins, CO. Candidate must have the ability to obtain a Public Trust from the Federal Government.  


Project Overview: 

The Program  provides a full spectrum of innovative business and professional services for developing, maintaining and supporting enterprise-class business applications to federal and non-federal agencies.


As a Senior Enterprise .Net Application Developer, you will help lead and conduct the maintenance and development of mission critical applications used every day to conduct government business. Our work is carried out in an Agile environment using the software industry’s most current tools and best practices that apply to our work.


Work / life balance is the norm, and we’re based in a great part of the country.  In a Senior role, you will work closely with the other Engineers, Architects, BAs, and QA to assist in investigation, design and planning, as well as provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers. You have both breadth and depth of .NET knowledge and experience applying that knowledge in writing quality code to build enterprise web applications, combined with a strong ability to synthesize, communicate and whiteboard with ease about these topics.  You recognize from experience not only where elegant patterns can be introduced in code and optimizations can be made within the application, but understand and can communicate why, and help lead the implementation of such designs by example.  



Daily Responsibilities 

  • Work with business analysts and business owners to collect user requirements
  • Communicate clearly in oral and written exchanges with the development team, program manager, and customers.
  • Understand and practice agile software development methodologies
  • Use Visual Studio, InfoPath Designer, and TFS to maintain and develop modular, world class application solutions to meet user requirements
  • Incorporate client side technologies such as HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery to enable intuitive and seamless user experiences
  • Diagnose technical challenges by analyzing code and supporting technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with and lead other less senior team members to facilitate their professional growth and proficiency
  • Provide support and assistance to other engineering teams with .NET questions and challenges
  • Participate in peer reviews.


Required excellent knowledge and skills

  • Proficient in .NET application development
  • Experience with SQLServer Database including database design and data analysis
  • Experience with HTML 5, JavaScript, JQuery, and CSS
  • Experience with JavaScript, Ajax, and REST
  • Experience with version control systems (Subversion, Perforce, Git, Clear Case, etc)
  • Soft skills include:
    • Ability to analyze someone else’s code and assume ownership
    • Discipline to document your own code
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks with varying priorities
    • Ability to communicate ideas in a variety of formats
