AceInfo is currently seeking a Software Development Project Manager to support our federal project, in Fort Collins, CO. Candidate must have the ability to obtain a Public Trust from the Federal Government.  

 

Project Overview: 

The Program  provides a full spectrum of innovative business and professional services for developing, maintaining and supporting enterprise-class business applications to federal and non-federal agencies.

 

Responsibilities

The Software Development Project Manager will be responsible for the planning, execution, and completion of custom software releases on a large government program.  The individual will join a project leadership team of program manager, project manager and scrum master. The manager will be a successful process and culture change agent with proven experience in evaluating processes and making recommendations following Agile principles within the organizational limitations/parameters. Ensure progress and risks are communicated clearly to stakeholders. Build and maintain strong working relationships with the customer, team members, and other supporting organizations and groups of resources. Implements and maintains quality improvement processes.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience managing Agile and Waterfall software development projects with teams of 10 or more members.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with the customer and teams to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with team members, project leadership and customers.
  • Experience leading Agile teams (internal and external) and successful collaboration with Product Owners.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification required
  • Scrum Master Certification or PMP-ACP required
  • Experience with Agile management tools such as JIRA and Confluence for tracking and managing sprints and creating product roadmaps
  • Experience implementing disciplined processes for managing quality of requirements, code, and deployments
  • Experience with DevOps processes and workflows
  • Experience with government security requirements a plus
  • Experience with federal government systems is a plus

Educational Preferences

  • Bachelors or advanced degree, preferably in Computer Science or related field.
  • PMP certification REQUIRED
  • Certified Scrum Master REQUIRED

 

  • Ability to attain Federal Government Position of Trust
