AceInfo is currently seeking a  Prpgram Manager to support an upcoming federal project, in Washington DC.

 

Project Overview:

Ace Info Solutions, Inc. is currently seeking a Program Manager to support an upcoming Agile and DevOps based Modernization project with federal client in Washington DC. Candidate must have the ability to obtain a Public Trust from the Federal Government. Client seeks to acquire technical service capable of developing, delivering and implementing a grant management solution that will provide Client's GMM Program with Agile service development, implementation, sustainment services, and enhancement for GMM’s platform. The contractor will assist Client by developing an enterprise level grant management system, which is usable agency-wide and across other DHS components

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Provides a full spectrum of Project Management for innovative professional services for developing, maintaining and supporting enterprise-class business applications through proven Agile Software Engineering and DevOps methods.
  • Provide leadership for several Agile development teams (Agile coaching, solution architecture, database architecture, product management, user experience design, and software engineering) and successful collaboration with Product Owners.
  • Responsible for management and completion of development releases and operational support for major Agile projects. 
  • Implements organization standards and best practices in Agile project execution, and ensures progress and risks are communicated clearly to stakeholders.
  • Builds and maintains strong working relationships with the customer and team members, as well as other organization such as Operational Support.
  • Implements and maintains quality improvement processes, risk management and other PMP process groups and knowledge areas.
  • Demonstrate expertise in the Agile, COTS and DevSecOps approaches, and experience using many of the tools included in the Development/Test Tool Suite (Java 1.8 or later, Oracle Express, NodeJS, Jenkins, Junit, Selenium, PostgreSQL, Jira)
  • Will be the primary interface with the GMM’s Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and FEMA’s Contracting Officer (CO), and shall attend status meetings and ad hoc meetings with stakeholders as required, accompanied by other proposed Key Personnel as necessary.
  • Will be a single point of contact for resolution of Government and call order issues.

Qualifications

 

  • Required a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management, or Engineering
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience required, specific to IT Project Management focusing on IT development projects.
  • Required At least two (2) years specialized experience in managing IT DevSecOps projects and scrum team(s)
  • PMP certification required
  • Experience with Agile management tools for tracking sprint progress and creating product roadmaps.
  • Exposure to managing DevOps and ATO processes, toolsets, workflows and personnel.
  • Will be a direct liaison to Customer COR and Product/Functional/Task Leads and responsible for the supervision and management of multiple Agile Teams’ personnel, technical assistance, and interface.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving agile development practices with multiple agile teams and customers
  • Technical leadership with an ability to rapidly prioritize competing requirements.
  • Ability to understand and simplify customer requirements and communicate end user feedback to technical and design leads.
  • Strong communication skills and proven knowledge of industry standards with Agile, DevOps and Software development and systems modernization

Good to have:

  • Agile certification (CSM or PMI-ACP or similar) is a plus
