AceInfo is currently seeking a Project Support and Business Analystto support our federal project, in Fort Collins, CO. Candidate must have the ability to obtain a Public Trust from the Federal Government.  


Project Overview: 

The Program  provides a full spectrum of innovative business and professional services for developing, maintaining and supporting enterprise-class business applications to federal and non-federal agencies.



  • Project Support duties: Researching, tracking, recording, organizing, and analyzing a wide range of data inputs. Helps facilitate communication between multiple project teams.
  • Business Analyst duties: Applies analysis of business systems and software solutions to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of work processes for both current and future business needs. Develops business process flows, cross-functional flow diagrams, and process diagrams. Conducts presentations and communicates product features to both technical and non-technical communities.
  • Duties and Responsibilities
  • The candidate will be working with various stakeholders including: java developers, QA engineers, project managers, program managers, directors, and internal and external product owners. Typical daily activities may include:
  • Create and maintain budget spreadsheets and reconcile cost data; Develop and report burn scenarios based on current and projected resources, budget, and projections
  • Track contracts for project resources, such as consulting, including POP, invoices, etc.
  • Pre-procurement research, outreach, and consultation
  • Compile customer billing reports
  • Consolidate and coordinate tracking mechanisms between teams
  • Track software licenses, determining need based on project budget and cost, consulting with vendors, and entering renewal requests in SharePoint. Track software licenses’ periods of performance and usage
  • Assist the SCRUM master(s) and project managers in entering and updating information in the project tracking systems, primarily Atlassian JIRA.

Take proactive approach in requirements elicitation analyze, interview, ask questions, collaborate with the development team to produce quality users stories and functional requirements Develop, maintain, and validate expense tracking and projections for GSA, Geospatial, and other EAS labor, hosting, travel, and procurement costs.


Required Knowledge and Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in a corporate environment with track record of advancement
  • Expert level in MS Excel
  • Proficient with presentation and web communication tools
  • Superior communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of staff
  • Self-starter with strong self-management skills
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Customer service oriented
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Must pass a background investigation

Desired Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience with federal government systems a plus
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and principles
  • Familiar with information technology architecture, governance and data exchange.
  • Proficient with requirements gathering tools. JIRA experience is a plus.

• Bachelor degree in computer science or related area

  • Ability to attain Federal Government Position of Trust
