AceInfo is currently seeking a Solutions Architect to work at our Corporate Headquarters in Reston, VA in support of Proposals/Prototypes and Capture. Will also provide Technical/Project Management support.


Position Description:

AceInfo is looking for a Solutions Architect with a strong background in solutions design and implementation for proposals and customer programs. The Solutions Architect will have both breadth and depth in various fields of information technology, strong written and verbal communications skills, and a passion for solving problems using technology. He/ She provides High-level architectural and specific solution architectural expertise and technical leadership for solution implementation for proposals, prototypes and customer requirements.




  • Designs, develops and serves as focal point for solutions architecture and implementation for proposals and customer program requirements.
  • Reviews RFIs, RFPs, SOW/PWS and drives the development of technical solutions that meet requirements, evaluation factors, and guidance from Directors/Capture Leads.
  • Participates in large system and subsystem planning and designs system components, units, and modules that meet specifications and implementation schedules.
  • Provides technical leadership to Systems/Software Engineers and ensure best practices are followed.
  • Works closely with proposal team, PMs and customer stakeholders to solve problems, identify efficiencies in implementing technical and functional requirements.
  • Drives innovation by keep up with industry trends, new ideas and emerging technologies to drive growth and excellence.
  • Performs a variety of complicated tasks with a wide degree of creativity and latitude and relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Provide support for opportunity pursuits including research and assessment of available technologies to meet requirements, architecting and engineering of solutions, drafting responses to requests for information (RFIs) and requests for proposals (RFPs), supporting cost estimation for bids, informing teaming decisions, and other related activities.
  • Contribute to the Centers of Excellence by developing new capabilities, solutions, prototypes and white papers.
  • Support internal technology initiatives, including development of technology products and/or managed services, corporate intellectual property (IP) harvesting activities, and other similar efforts.
  • Keeping abreast of emerging technologies as well as Federal technology and IT management trends.


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related engineering field.
  • Broad and deep understanding of a variety of information technology and related services, and awareness of emerging trends in software, and cloud-based platforms. 
  • Strong understanding/exposure to Cloud and DevOpsExperience supporting proposals and growth in a Federal IT technology and/or services contracting environment. 
  • Experienced with leading/managing Agile software development projects and solutioning/writing proposals
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Solution sessions, CONOPS and architecture diagrams, authoring proposals and technical capability briefings.
  • Exposure to emerging technologies like Big Data and Machine Learning is preferred but not mandatory. 
  • Certification in AWS Certified Solutions Architect or DevOps is a plus, but not required.

U.S. Citizen is required for the position. Candidate must successfully pass a Federal Background Investigation.
