AceInfo is currently seeking a Software Development Project Manager/Scrum Master to support our federal project, in Fort Collins, CO. Candidate must have the ability to obtain a Public Trust from the Federal Government.  


Project Overview: 

The Program  provides a full spectrum of innovative business and professional services for developing, maintaining and supporting enterprise-class business applications to federal and non-federal agencies.



The Software Development Project Manager/Scrum Master will be responsible for management and completion of releases of a major Agile project within the information technology department. This individual manages the full Agile development lifecycle including sprint and release planning, scrums across several teams, and retrospectives. Implements organization standards and best practices in Agile project execution, and ensures progress and risks are communicated clearly to stakeholders. Builds and maintains strong working relationships with the customer and team members, as well as other organizations. Implements and maintains quality improvement processes.


Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects. Takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services. Defines project scope and objectives. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.



  • 5+ years’ experience managing large software development projects.
  • Proved leadership of several Agile development teams (Developers, QA and Business Analysts, virtual or local) and successful collaboration with Product Owners.
  • Experience driving Agile development practices with external teams and customers.
  • Scrum Master Certification required. Other Agile certifications such as Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) a plus.    
  • Experience with Agile management tools for tracking sprint progress and creating product roadmaps. Atlassian tools as Jira, Confluence and Portfolio are preferred.
  • Proven track record leading continual improvements of scrum team performance.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with the customer and teams to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Experience implementing disciplined processes for managing quality of requirements, code, and deployments.
  • Experience with DevOps processes and workflows.
  • Experience with government security requirements a plus.
  • Experience with federal government systems is a plus.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Educational Preferences

  • Bachelors or advanced degree, preferably in Computer Science or related field.
  • Certified Scrum Master
