AceInfo is currently seeking a Deputy Program Manager to support our federal project, in Bowie, MD.








The Deputy Program Manager will manage a team and Projects responsible for servers, storage, virtualization, monitoring, patching, data backup and recovery of critical government systems.



  • Directs and prioritizes the work load of infrastructure personnel.
  • Ensures the consistency and maintainability of existing applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures for implementing technical solutions.
  • Meets with customer to define requirements for services and present cost-effective technical solutions.
  • Manages information technology vendor relationships.
  • Works with corporate staff for administrative duties and staffing.
  • Serves as a technical subject matter expert for senior management and other staff.
  • Experience with IT infrastructure, networking and Data Center projects.
  • Leads and manages projects throughout the entire project lifecycle from inception through deployment and closing.
  • Controls and monitors project budget, scope, schedule, progress, and risks including timely communication to internal and external project stakeholders. Provides weekly dashboards/status reports per PMO requirements.
  • Aligns IT technologies to complement and support the operation of the business.
  • Prioritizes and manages IT requests.
  • Drives alignment of the application/domain roadmap with the overall IT roadmap.
  • Supports the preparation of cost/effort estimates for internal and external work.
  • Manages day to day IT operations.
  • Ensures IT systems are security compliant with most recent FISMA, NIST and other security standards.




Candidate must have the following knowledge, experience, and abilities:

  • Excellent track record of organizing and leading teams to deliver exceptional customer service – will lead a team of 100+people.
  • 10+ years of experience managing IT service delivery in an enterprise class environment and Project Management.
  • Must be experienced supporting a large Data Center.
  • Able to develop a positive, supportive, team oriented work environment.
  • Able to develop and continuously improve operational processes and practices.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues for end-users, problem ticket escalation, and proactive service/support.
  • Ability to provide coaching, technical guidance and training to team members.
  • Ability to guide the team and directly assist in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, policies and procedures.
  • Ability to oversee multiple projects and teams to meet project milestones, schedules, and scope in alliance with best practices.
  • Ability to facilitate requirements gathering sessions and document requirements, including validating requirements with stakeholders

Required Technical Skills / Experience:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering/ Information Systems or related discipline.
  • Must be PMI PMP, ITIL certified.
  • Must have experience working with Federal Government

  • Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass a Public Trust Assessment
