AceInfo is currently seeking a IT Solutions Program Manager to support our federal project, in Fort Collins, CO. 

 

Project Overview: 

 

AceInfo Solutions seeks an IT Solutions Program Manager for a major Government Information Technology program located in Fort Collins, CO. This is a high-risk, high-dollar, high-visibility project that will require the leadership skills of an experienced and versatile Program Manager

Responsibilities

  • The IT Solutions Program Manager will be responsible for the build-up, coordination, and completion of a large, multi-million dollar government project within the information technology department
  • Oversees all aspects of assignments on the project and the software application development lifecycle
  • Sets schedules and deadlines, assigns tasks and responsibilities, allocates and supervises resources, and monitors and summarizes progress of project in an agile environment
  • Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, other teams and organizations, contractors, vendors, and others
  • Prepares project status reports and maintains risk registers for upper management. Reviews project milestones and products and is responsible for all deliverables. Implements organization standards and best practices in project execution, and ensures projects are clearly documented and communicated to stakeholders
  • The IT Solutions Program Manager must be able to speak to all levels of stakeholders and function well and professionally under pressure
  • Interpersonal skills must be top notch and able to thrive in ambiguous situations with constantly changing demands

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in the IT field or related area
  • PMP Certification
  • PMI-ACP and/or CSM Certification required within first three months of hire
  • Experience managing large projects in the IT field or related area
  • Supervisory and Hiring experience
  • Experience managing government projects
  • Expert knowledge of application development (SDLC) from planning and inception through implementation and post-production support; Agile experience necessary
  • Clear understanding of change management techniques
  • Experience in project management disciplines including organizing and prioritizing multiple tasks, building a functional team from scratch, and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholder
  • Leadership and mentoring capabilities, team centric skills and strong solution orientation
  • Ability to communicate at all levels with clarity, poise, maturity and precision both written and verbally, including in external customer-facing situations
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills; balancing strategic alignment with technology roadmap and emerging industry trends with practical delivery
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or other related discipline
