AceInfo is currently seeking a Sr. Project Manager to support our federal project, in Fort Collins, CO.

 

Project Overview: 

 

The Program  provides a full spectrum of innovative business and professional services for developing, maintaining and supporting enterprise-class business applications to federal and non-federal agencies.

 

Responsibilities

  • The Project Manager will be responsible for coordination and completion of multiple government projects
  • Oversees all aspects of assigned projects and the software application development lifecycle
  • Sets schedules and deadlines, assigns tasks and responsibilities, allocates resources, and monitors and summarizes progress of project in an iterative methodology environment
  • Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, other teams and organizations, contractors, vendors, and others
  • Prepares project status reports for upper management and maintains risk registers for upper management
  • Reviews project milestones and products, and is responsible for all deliverables. Implements organization standards and best practices in project execution, and ensures projects are clearly documented and communicated to stakeholders
  • Will act as Scrum Master driving the work in an Agile environment

Qualifications

Required Skills and Expertise:

  • 7+ years of experience of technical project management experience managing IT Software Development projects
  • Experience managing Agile or Scrum application development teams to deliver solutions that meet project milestones on time and with quality.
  • Ability to effectively communicate across third parties and technical and business product managers
  • Possesses knowledge and expertise in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Drives development teams to deliver technology solutions in support project initiatives by working closely with product owners, business analysts, architects, engineers, and quality assurance
  • Ability to prioritize, plan, and execute the development schedule for major product releases
  • Manages, and appropriately escalates, delivery impediments, risks, issues, and changes
  • Ensures deliverables across engineering teams are high quality and clearly documented
  • Clear understanding of human resources policies/practices and change management techniques
  • Leadership capabilities, team centric skills and strong solution orientation
  • Ability to communicate at all levels with clarity, poise, maturity and precision both written and verbally
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills; balancing strategic alignment with technology roadmap and emerging industry trends with practical delivery
  • Must have portfolio management skills to include dealing with unrelated projects with multiple stakeholders

 

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Software Release Management
  • Experience with Government systems

Experience with federal government systems a plus.

Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States.

Must pass a background investigation

Clearance: Ability to attain Federal Government Position of Trust

 

Required Education and Certifications
• Bachelor degree in a related area
• PMP Certified
• CSM Certified
• PMI-ACP Certified a plus
