AceInfo is currently seeking an Senior Quality Assurance / Business Analyst to support our federal project, in Fort Collins, CO.


We are looking for a motivated self-starter who is interested in contributing to our overall Quality Assurance capabilities; someone who enjoys collaborating with a development team.  The applicant should have at least 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance.  The candidate should also have experience with gathering and documenting business requirements and user stories.


  • Coordinate with client and developers to ensure user stories have accurate and specific acceptance criteria that can be used to produce detailed functional test plans
  • Develop in depth understanding of customer requirements to detail business process requirements to support testable deliverables
  • Works closely with product owners and managers to convert business use cases into Agile epics, stories and actionable tasks
  • Manages and keeps backlog up-to-date and ensures stories and task are complete prior to sprint planning
  • Work with product owner on capturing all incoming requirements and changes in a form of user stories
  • Compose and elaborate on user stories for upcoming development sprints making them ready for development team analysis as well as perform other backlog grooming tasks
  • Capture ongoing changes to the user stories as they are being analyzed, designed and implemented during the sprints
  • Experience in testing web applications
  • Proven experience developing test cases from requirements/design and user stories with acceptance criteria
  • Experience in test planning (including sample data planning), test scheduling, and test evaluation
  • Perform manual functional, system, regression, and integration testing
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task under tight deadlines and report status
  • Lead and execute efforts to produce documentation related to user stories, and use case documentation


  • 4+ years’ experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst
  • Experience gathering and documenting user requirements
  • Experience working on agile software development projects
  • Strong understanding of the agile SDLC
  • General understanding of web technologies
  • Ability to write manual test cases
  • Proven ability to perform manual testing
  • Experience coordinating and communicating on cross-team initiatives
  • Proficient with managing and updating project documentation, including test results.  Confluence experience is a plus
  • Proficient with presentation and web communication tools
  • Ability to communicate complex technical problems to a non-technical audience
