AceInfo is currently seeking an Infrastructure Senior Program Manager to support our upcoming federal project in the Norfolk, VA area.
Provide program management for the large contract, managing a program with 100+ personnel in an IT Infrastructure environment. Provide overall direction of project activities. Manage and maintain Contractor interface with the senior levels of the customer’s organization. Consult with customer and Contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverables, ensuring conformance with program and asset management, and project task schedules and costs and contractual obligations. Establish and maintain technical and financial reports to show progress of projects to management and customers, organize, assign and prioritize responsibilities to subordinates, oversee the successful completion of all assigned tasks, and ensure the quality of all deliverables meet established performance metrics and benchmarks. Will be responsible forTechnical and contractual modernization.
At least 15+ years of experience in increasingly responsible positions in an IT or technology-related field, with 10+ years being in IT project/program management. Experience organizing, directing, and managing contract IT Engineering, O&M, and Service Desk operations support functions and multi-faceted, complex, and inter-related IT projects. Experience managing teams of contract support personnel with diverse IT skill sets at multiple locations (CONUS and OCONUS). Experience maintaining and managing client interface at senior levels and handling escalated issues with the required sensitivity and tact. Meets with customer and Contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items. Ensures conformance with program task schedules and costs. Experience in overseeing and formulating project management support documents and plans, and assisting federal managers, project managers, and/or project management support staff in coordinating formulation of such.
Highly adept at understanding and anticipating personnel needs, procuring resources in timely manner, uncovering and developing evolving talent, and placing resources in position for success. Will have autonomy to remove and hire staff as needed for project success. Experience managing to P&L targets is also an important element.
Prior experience in a DoD IT contract setting, preferably within the US Air Force as this position will require ability to communicate with Senior Level civilian or Air Force decision makers. Previous work related to DCGS or ISR. Time spent in the armed services is highly desirable.
Required Education and Certifications:
Bachelor Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline.
PMI PMP certification highly desirable (certain degrees may substitute for PMP)
Top Secret clearance / SCI eligible
