    AceInfo is currently seeking a Web Developer II to support our federal project, in Norman, OK .  When applying please provide a cover letter.



    Project Overview: 


    The National Severe Storms Lab is a Federal agency focusing on world-class weather research related to the initialization and development of severe weather. Ace Info Solutions currently provides IT-related services which are an integral part to the success of NSSL’s mission. An overview of services includes DNS/DHCP administration, multi-platform (Linux, Windows, and Apple) server and desktop support, Active Directory administration, hardware technical support, and data center management.


    Position Description:


    The full-stack web developer will design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, and implement software code (such as HTML5, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript) in conjunction with the lead web developer and administrators for NSSL research projects, intranet pages, and IT services. The position will also be a resource to scientists by troubleshooting submitted code for interactive web applications, and will ensure compliance with NOAA web standards and general best practices.


    • Develops and implements database-driven web applications using standards-based methodologies and tools
    • Provide guidance and support to scientists’ project pages and ensure compliance with accessibility (Section 508), security, privacy and Department of Commerce web standards
    • Offer suggestions for general site improvement and security for the web team, and implement changes as required
    • Develop and support web applications for process management and integration into required systems
    • Assist in the development of a new web server by planning and testing the migration of web content
    • Recommends and implements web technologies and software for utilization in assigned projects
    • Provides updates with status of projects, problems or other outstanding project-related issues
    • Create custom APIs and web services


    • Bachelor’s degree and two years of web development experience preferred
    • JavaScript experience required
    • PHP experience required
    • React.js experience preferred

    Additional Requirement:


    U.S. Citizen is required for the position. Candidate must successfully pass a Federal Background Investigation.  Public Trust Clearance or the ability to obtain one
