    AceInfo is currently seeking a IT Project Management Task Lead /Deputy Project Manager to support our upcoming federal project, in Hampton, VA

     

     

    Project Overview:

     

    The 480 ISRW is the Air Force leader in globally networked intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) operations. The Wing’s comprehensive set of ISR capabilities include Lead Wing designation for the Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS), as well as national cryptologic, information technology, cyber ISR, tactical analysis, Combined Forces Air Component Command (CFACC)-support, and national-to-tactical signals intelligence (SIGINT) integration. The unit’s mission is executed on a 24 hour, seven (7) days per week basis across several core and remote sites with Command, Control and Communications (C3) locations at Langley Air Force Base (AFB), VA and Beale AFB, CA.

    The AF DCGS, also referred to as the AN/GSQ-272 SENTINEL weapon system, is the Air Force’s primary ISR planning, collection, processing and exploitation, analysis and dissemination weapon system. The weapon system employs a global communications architecture that connects multiple intelligence platforms, DoD networks, and sensors. Personnel assigned to AF DCGS produce actionable intelligence from data collected by a variety of sensors on the U-2, RQ-4 Global Hawk, MQ-1 Predator, MQ-9 Reaper and other ISR platforms across multiple security levels up to TOP SECRET/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI).

    Responsibilities

    • Provide senior-level IT project management and technical integration for DCGS and Command, Control, Computer and Communications, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) integration activities
    • Advise the 480 ISRW Technical Director, providing support and guidance for all issues impacting current and planned integration activities. 
    • Support engineering efforts to resolve problems, transform customer requirements into technical solutions, generate and/or brief information for decision makers, and provide information for follow-on processes
    • Develop project management documentation (i.e. white papers, reports/studies, briefings, test plans). 
    • Act as Deputy Project Manager, supporting the Project Manager
    • Participate in, and provide oversight for, test and operational development and mitigation for on-site installations
    • Provide technical analysis and support for all proposed and validated system requirements for DCGS in support of operational requirements
    • Assess the feasibility of integrating ISR systems into DCGS, while minimizing the impact to ongoing current operations
    • Identify, recommend, validate, and track progress of functional requirements and events for prototype demonstration, test, and integration of new DCGS and C4ISR capabilities
    • Monitor and support the operational verification of performance criteria IAW documented user requirements and national/commercial community standards
    • Coordinate with stakeholders to generate technical solutions to facilitate multi-intelligence data integration into DCGS
    • Lead the development and integration of new DCGS systems, to include operational evaluations of new systems and modifications to existing systems, in order to achieve optimum interoperability among the various DCGS segments
    • Coordinate with the Configuration Control Manager to ensure the input, status, and updates of projects are transitioned under configuration management control
    • Plan, host, and participate in meetings and conferences (i.e. scrums, technical exchange meetings (TEMs), Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Engineering studies, etc.)
    • Evaluate new initiatives along with the associated costs in support of each initiative

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 10 years’ of project management experience, with 5 years of DCGS or ISR architectural experience
    • TS/SCI Clearance (active DoD)
    • Bachelor’s degree in IT management/related technical field or Project Management Professional (PMP)
    • Working knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and ITIL
    • Demonstrate ability to successfully lead a large team of geographically dispersed technical personnel to meet or exceed mission expectations for productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment
    • Demonstrated ability to serve as a knowledgeable resource to the management team that provides leadership and direction
