    AceInfo is currently seeking a System Administration Task Lead to support our upcoming federal project, in Hampton, VA

     

     

    Project Overview:

     

    The 480 ISRW is the Air Force leader in globally networked intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) operations. The Wing’s comprehensive set of ISR capabilities include Lead Wing designation for the Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS), as well as national cryptologic, information technology, cyber ISR, tactical analysis, Combined Forces Air Component Command (CFACC)-support, and national-to-tactical signals intelligence (SIGINT) integration. The unit’s mission is executed on a 24 hour, seven (7) days per week basis across several core and remote sites with Command, Control and Communications (C3) locations at Langley Air Force Base (AFB), VA and Beale AFB, CA.

    The AF DCGS, also referred to as the AN/GSQ-272 SENTINEL weapon system, is the Air Force’s primary ISR planning, collection, processing and exploitation, analysis and dissemination weapon system. The weapon system employs a global communications architecture that connects multiple intelligence platforms, DoD networks, and sensors. Personnel assigned to AF DCGS produce actionable intelligence from data collected by a variety of sensors on the U-2, RQ-4 Global Hawk, MQ-1 Predator, MQ-9 Reaper and other ISR platforms across multiple security levels up to TOP SECRET/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Support servers, workstations, and databases physically located at both DOC sites operating on Windows and Solaris across multiple classification levels and hosting various management applications
    • Ensure overall integration and upkeep of all enterprise management services to include all servers, workstations, and access accounting functions inherent to network access on the DCGS architecture
    • Manage enterprise IT applications and services such as Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), Network Timing Protocol (NTP), Domain Name Service (DNS), Distributed Mission Crew Communications (DMCC), Crew Comm, Active Directory, and Host Based Security System (HBSS)
    • Administer a host of unique systems and services specific to DCGS weapon system
    • Provide remote management of computer systems within the DOC East and DOC West
    • Integrate new projects into the DOC (management architecture) and the DPA
    • Perform enterprise User Account management, group and Home Directory maintenance for Unix and Windows workstations and servers, user/group policies/rights for DOC and DPA enterprise level
    • Track and maintain system applicable certificates
    • Install, configure, analyze, develop, test, modify and maintain solutions for operating systems, hardware, and application software to meet enterprise management and DPA systems analysis and/or integrations requirements in accordance with (IAW) established IT and Government standards (e.g. network services, operating system patches, application software patches, and maintenance of software licenses)
    • Review and provide input to documentation DCGS Configuration Control Board (CCB)
    • Define system objectives and prepare system design specifications to meet DPA and Government requirements and to satisfy interface problems
    • Develop scripts to improve synchronization of data between DOC East and DOC West
    • Work directly with and support 480 ISRW Network Engineers and provide technical solutions and expertise for DCGS-wide system engineering efforts
    • Develop implementation and test plans for migrating CCB-approved software and hardware changes into operational DOC environment
    • Support the DOC Information System Security Officer (ISSO) and Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to identify/resolve security related issues
    • Provide support for certification and accreditation

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of seven (7) years’ of Systems Administration experience
    • Possess an IAT Level II certification and Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA). MCSA may be substituted for (4) years’ of enterprise systems administration experiencw
    • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead a team of personnel to meet or exceed mission expectations for productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment
    • Demonstrated ability to serve as a knowledgeable resource to the management team that provides leadership and direction
    • Active Top Secret Clearance

    U.S. Citizen is required for the position. Candidate must successfull pass a Federal Background Investigation.
