    AceInfo is currently seeking a Systems Administrator I to support our federal project in Kearneysville, WV. 

     

     

    Position Description:

     

    The System Administrator (SA) works as a member of the EM (Enterprise Management) team, providing daily system support and maintenance for Windows systems. The SA is expected to have a thorough technical knowledge of his/her systems and be capable of executing independent and team tasks as assigned.
    He/she must be a team player and willing to interact with other people at all levels throughout the organization. He/She must also possess an outstanding ability to identify and troubleshoot hardware and software issues across a variety of systems and software platforms.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Day-to-day operations and administration of SharePoint, Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) and SQL Server databases
    • Technical support for all systems including monitoring of servers on a daily basis to ensure all services and applications are functioning correctly.
    • Coordinate with and complete user requests for software installs, user permissions and accounts, and system troubleshooting.
    • Maintain application level security patch levels.
    • Evaluate IAVMs, Monthly Security Scans, STIG compliance and other security concerns from IA and respond accordingly
    • Install and upgrade system software, applications, and databases.
    • Manage EM’s SWIII Image lab which includes reimaging workstations, vulnerability management/remediation, troubleshooting add-on software and Enterprise application image/group policy related issues and coordinate/report software/group policy update testing results
    • Provide technical input for policies and procedures, maintain accurate documentation on those policies/procedures.
    • Maintaining relationships with other OSC support teams to be aware of changes that may impact EM & documentation SOP’s.
    • Adhere to Change/Configuration Management procedures and policies.
    • Research and investigate problems and develop viable solutions; report recommendations clearly and effectively to the team.
    • Executes ad-hoc queries and generate reports for users, required monthly reports for the Project Manager, and any others upon request in a timely manner.
    • Review, update, and execute database backup and recovery procedures including disaster recovery.
    • Configures and maintains SQL jobs.
    • Develop/maintain System Administrator and Database Administrator SOP’s.
    • Develop Contingency Plan input and perform Contingency Plan review and testing.
    • Assist Project Manager in gathering system metrics for reporting purposes.

    Qualifications

    Required Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering or related degree program and/or current IT certification with sufficient technical experience to substitute for the formal education requirement.
    • Security + Certification

    Experience

    • At least 1 year of IT engineering experience supporting projects and systems of similar size, scope and technical complexity to those supported under this contract.

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Strong background in an Active Directory environment.
    • Ability to participate on 24x7 on-call team (rotating schedule).
    • Experience with System Monitoring Tools
    • Strong troubleshooting skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
    • Familiarity with the Microsoft Suite of tools (Word, Excel, Project, Power Point, etc).
    • Familiarity or ability to learn new tools quickly.
    • Strong customer service and consultation skills.
    • Must be flexible, intuitive and self-motivated.
    • Work hours are consistent but occasional ad hoc requirements necessitate flexible hours.

     

    Beneficial Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2013
    • Database Administration (SQL 2014/2016)
    • Familiarity with Source Code Management tools, such as Microsoft’s TFS
    • Scripting knowledge is a plus

     

     

    Additional Requirement:

     

    U.S. Citizen is required for the position. Candidate must successfully obtain a NACI prior to starting.
