    AceInfo is currently seeking an IT Security Lead to support our federal project in Kearneysville, WV. 

     

    Position Description:

     

    The Security lead will provide security request and tracking services to include, but not limited to (TCTO, TASKORD and IAVM) for agency contract systems. The Security Lead will work closely with agency’s IA, and agency management and technical staff, to facilitate implementation of IA security requests by providing interpretation and analysis of the requests.  The position will be a focal point for reporting and tracking of all security requests of the agency systems.  This position will also provide subject matter expertise (SME) in the development and operations of security services of applicable tools and work with the agency’s IA team in an effort to build tracking methods to support managing and reporting of their work efforts. The Security lead will work with and provide input to the agency’s Engineering and Operations technical teams with regard to engineering and operating secure solutions. 

     

    Responsibilities

    • Manage and track agency security requests and report completion to IA as requested
    • Provide security subject matter expertise for tracking of security elements
    • Provide security expertise of IA requests to the agency systems and disseminate what and who is affected in order to eliminate mass requests to all agency systems
    • Research and track changes to DISA STIG requirements that apply to agency systems.  Track implementation of new STIG requirements 
    • Actively participate in the design, engineering, and release of secure PaaS images
    • Facilitate and participate in security related meetings for reporting and analysis of new and ongoing security issues and requests.  This includes working with the other contracts at the OSC on the determination of security related issues that cross contract boundaries (i.e. where agency services provide support to the other contracts on security related matters)
    • Manage the development and completion of all agency-related POAMs
    • Coordinate and analyze ACAS scanning to ensure accurate vulnerability assessment and reporting.
    • Manage the tracking and implementation of applicable weekly DISA IAVMs.
    • Create and maintain project plans for security projects 

    Qualifications

    Required Education and Certifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering, Cyber Security, or related degree program or equivalent experience and industry certification to substitute for education
    • Security +

    Required Training/Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Minimum of five to seven years IT engineering experience supporting security requirements for projects and systems of similar size, scope and technical complexity to those supported under this contract
    • Security related background pertaining to networking, Windows and Linux.
    • Working knowledge of Linux, Unix, and/or Windows Operating Systems
    • Working knowledge of HBSS components
    • Experience with interpreting vulnerability scan results and remediation planning and implementation
    • Ability to work well in a team environment, promote customer service, and handle complex technical issues
    • Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to clearly, accurately, and concisely communicate technical information in both oral and written formats

     

    Desired Training/Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • CISSP certification (or within 6 months of hire)
    • Familiarity with DISA STIG implementation
    • Working  knowledge of FISMA controls
    • Understanding of Ports, Protocols and Services Management (PPSM)
    • Experience with ACAS and SIEM environments
    • Familiarity with VMWare administration

    U.S. Citizen is required for the position. Candidate must successfull pass a Federal Background Investigation.
